Simon’s coaching practice is built on deep foundations, with over 20 years’ experiential learning, extensive theoretical study and hands-on experience in a richly diverse range of learning and development contexts in both the public and private sectors.
Accredited since 2007 as an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation, he is also qualified as a Certified Master Coach with the Behavioural Coaching Institute.
Simon has delivered transformational coaching to talented executives and senior managers within a diverse range of organisations, as well as owner/directors of numerous SMEs and innovators/entrepreneurs.
He has worked internationally in the following sectors: Manufacturing; Banking and Financial Services; Health Care and Pharmaceuticals; Marketing and Communications; Sales; Higher and Secondary Education.
Simon particularly enjoys helping to bring the best out of bright, creative individuals in a co-creative relationship. He works from a whole-person perspective with his clients, aligning his approach with their strengths and personal vision in facilitating rapid, positive change. His strengths lie in the areas of building resilience, mindfulness and self-awareness; enhancing leadership capability within emerging leaders and developing communication and personal impact.
Simon has spent his professional life interacting with people from all walks of life, and the skills and experiences he has gained in his career add hugely to his effectiveness as a coach – both involve real communication, intellect and insight, impartiality, being practical and realistic, making sense of complex information, facilitating change and producing results.
In addition to his coaching qualifications, Simon has a Master’s Degree in the application of Media Technology in Adult Learning. He has lived and worked extensively overseas.
